Transport Minister Rosie Winterton, the Commission and the Civil Aviation Authority today outlined measures coming into force this month to give up to 15 million disabled people and those with limited mobility new rights when travelling through airports in Europe.

The mother of a disabled child was today celebrating after judges in the European Court of Justice upheld an earlier opinion that treating employees less favourably because of their association with a disabled person was unlawful.
