Consultation response to 'Ending child poverty: Making it happen'

The Commission has responded to the consultation by the Department for Children, Schools and Families 'Ending child poverty: Making it happen'.

The Commission supports the general aim of the proposals to legislate on the Government's commitment to eradicate child poverty by 2020.We share the ambition of having a nation where socio-economic background has no influence on children's future.
