Our briefing is in support of Amendments which would require the Government to include data on children in low income households where one or both parents are working and to set out how the terms ‘low income’ and ‘material deprivation’ have been interpreted. We are also supporting an amendment which would retain the measures of relative and absolute income poverty and material deprivation in the Child Poverty Act 2010.
